Structural Analysis
All of our structures are individually modelled and calculated in accordance with the Technical Standards for Construction 2018 and the relevant Explanatory Circular, with reference to both the Ultimate Limit States and the Operating Limit States. The actions considered include permanent loads, permanent non-structural loads, loads arising from the plant and environmental actions such as wind and earthquake.
The structure is verified for all load combinations required by the standard, with three-dimensional FEM modelling using certified software. Bolted and welded connections are dimensioned in accordance with NTC 2018. Safety is ensured with respect to the strength of the members and metal unions, making explicit the actions transmitted to the existing served structure and foundations according to the design constraints.
The structure is also analysed with respect to the UNI EN 81-20 and UNI EN 81-50 standards for lift systems and the UNI EN 81-41 standards for lifting platforms, including the deformation aspects of the car rails.
The calculation is completed with all the necessary documents to be attached to the structural report, such as the calculation report, graphic drawings, maintenance plan, materials report, etc., all signed by a qualified engineer.
